Business Innovation Hub is the competence and training centre of Bundesvereinigung mittelständischer Unternehmer e.V. and Bund der Selbständigen, Landesverband NRW e.V.

Mandatory training and instruction: learn live. Implement with evidence in the business.

You start with a practical SME webinar. Afterwards, you decide whether to continue with your own learning environment, LMS, certificates, designer, and editable course sources.

The webinar is the starting point. Software is your optional companion.

You book training, not standalone software. In the webinar you prioritise relevant instruction, target groups, evidence, and rollout. Only then do you decide transparently on an implementation package.

Clarify relevance

Roles, risks, equipment, sector, and operational triggers instead of one blanket list.

Instruct and assess

Assign suitable target groups, explain content, assess knowledge, and document outcomes.

Manage evidence

Bring certificates, reminders, status, and open tasks together in a traceable learning operation.

What you work out specifically for your business.

The assessment is deliberately role- and risk-based. It does not replace legal advice or a specialist competence assessment.

Obligation map

Which topics may be relevant for which roles and work areas?

Audiences & intervals

How are trigger, recurrence, and responsibility set transparently?

Instruction format

When is digital knowledge enough and when are practice, instruction, or formal competence needed?

Evidence chain

Which version, attendance, assessment, certificates, and deadlines need documenting?

Rollout plan

How do you start with a clear pilot area instead of an uncontrolled mass rollout?

Ownership

Who assigns, monitors due dates, handles exceptions, and receives reports?

From webinar to a defensible learning operation.

The optional implementation companion follows a clear process.

1. Prioritise

You select the roles, topics, and evidence most relevant to your business first.

2. Set up

Create employees and groups, assign courses, and configure due dates and reminders.

3. Deliver

Participants complete suitable content, knowledge tests, and confirmations.

4. Evidence and improve

Review certificates, reports, and overdue work; evolve content where needed with designer and source projects.

Webinar plus optional implementation tools

Compare packages at a glance.

All packages begin with the webinar. The further levels extend the tools for implementation in your business – transparently by term, scope, and rights.

Important context

Does e-learning replace every practical qualification?

No. Practical exercises, formal competence, driving or operating permits, and recognised courses remain necessary where the role requires them.

Is every course mandatory annually for everyone?

No. Audience, trigger, and recurrence depend on role, risk assessment, sector, equipment, and applicable requirements.

Which topics can the course library cover?

The library supports, among other subjects, occupational-safety instruction, data protection and IT security, compliance and conduct, AGG, hygiene, and further operational awareness topics. The webinar prioritises suitable content based on your roles and risks.

Can our company adapt the e-learning content itself?

Yes, in packages with the e-learning designer and editable source projects. The webinar package provides ready-to-run content and the LMS, but no designer or source projects.

What does member benefit mean?

BVMU and BDS members state their membership during booking or quotation. The configured member price is applied transparently only after confirmation; no fictional discount is promised before price approval.

Is this legal advice?

No. The webinar and tools support organisation, clarity, and evidence. Legal assessment remains the task of the appropriate specialists.

Prioritise mandatory training effectively.

Book the webinar or clarify a company package, hosting, editing rights, and rollout in a conversation.
